About Top Notch Builders
Top Notch Builders was founded by Shane Evans in 2021 with the vision of helping people with their construction needs no matter how big like a new build or how small like a remodel or repair. We service the following areas in Utah: Duchesne, Uintah, Weber, and Davis Counties.
We are well known for taking on custom and nontraditional projects that some say can’t be done. We have the experience, knowledge, resources, and abilities to make your experience the best, and most simple, that it can possibly be with a quality and affordable outcome.
Shane started in construction at the young age of 8 years old
working long days through summers and weekends with the
grown men in his family and had to perform to the high
expectations and work ethic that is deep instilled in him to this
day. He went on to start Top Notch Builders at the age of 31. He
was taught to work harder than anyone he knew and put in the
time and effort that it took no mater how much perseverance
he would have to employee and endure to ensure a timely and
quality product.
Shane is a loving husband to his beautiful wife Angie of which
he has been with for 16 years (2025) and a father to two
beautiful children which he enjoys spending time with and
teaching them life skills and spending time in the great
outdoors. He has a history of being an avid outdoors men,
machinist, fisherman, horse trainer, god loving, patriot, and
family man who would give the shirt off his back to anybody on
this earth that deserves it.

Our mission is to serve you the people with a personable “small shop” feel no mater how big we grow. We offer in-house services with our own Top Notch Builders team members which hold integrity paramount to the many other great values that our company culture is made of. We also have a great relationship with our subcontractors and vendors who understand our mission and help us make your big dreams come to life. We take pride in doing what we say we are going to do when we say we are going to do it.
Shane named the company Top Notch Builders to be an everlasting reminder to himself and
every team member of our mission to only do our projects top notch with no corner cutting, no exceptions.
Top Notch Builders is specially licensed with a “B100” (General Contractor) license as well as a “S350” (HVAC) license to be able to formally take care of all of your needs.
